Terms and Conditions

Thank you for booking your place on the Women Who Thrive Workshops. We have outlined our terms and conditions below.

General:

​

  1. Your place on the workshop is confirmed once we have received the full amount for the workshop and the confirmation email has been sent to you.

  2. Once your place is confirmed we will send you a confirmation email. We will also ask you to complete a form that notifies us of any additional needs, requirements, or special dietary requirements that you have so we can make the necessary arrangements, where possible. Please complete this form and return to us as soon as possible.

  3. On our workshops we create a safe and nurturing space which allows women to talk and share personal information about themselves to the group. We expect you to be kind and respectful to the other women on the workshop. Information shared during the workshop is confidential.

  4. The information provided on the workshops are designed to help you ‘Become your best you and let nothing hold you back’. We are not responsible or liable for any changes you make in your life after attending the workshop.

  5. All the information, techniques, content and logos used as part of the workshop are the intellectual property of Women Who Thrive Ltd and are designed to be used only on the workshop. After the workshop this information cannot be used in any way unless permission is directly given by Women Who Thrive Ltd.    

  6. If you have any concerns regarding your health, on a physical, mental or emotional level prior to attending the workshop then please consult a doctor. If you are feeling sick or unwell the week or day before the workshop then please notify of this. It is important that you are feeling well enough to participate in the Workshop.

  7. Smoking or Vaping is not permitted within any of the buildings where the workshops are held. If you do smoke or vape then please inform us about this at booking and we will direct you to a designated smoking area if there is one available.

Bookings:

​

  1. A deposit of 30% can be made to reserve your space on the workshop. The remaining 70% needs to be paid 60 days prior to start date of the workshop. Your place can only be confirmed on the workshop once we have received the full amount.

  2. We do not cover the cost of traveling to and from the workshop. You must make your own way to and from the workshop.

  3. It is recommended that you take out your own insurance policy to cover your travel costs and the cost of the workshop in case you are unable to attend.

  4. We reserve the right to run promotions and early bird offers at any time. These prices are not transferable once you have booked your place and the price will remain the same unfortunately if you missed these offers.

Cancellations:

​

  1. If you cancel within 14 days of booking a place on the workshop, then a full refund will be made.

  2. Bookings cancelled after 14 days are unfortunately non-refundable. It is worth taking out insurance that will cover the cost of the workshop if you have to cancel for any reason. If you do need to cancel then please contact us. You may be able to transfer your place to a friend who can make that date but this is down to our discretion.

  3. If we have to cancel the workshop then we will offer you an alternative date for you to attend or a full refund. Unfortunately we will be unable to reimburse you for any cancellations you will have to make to your travel arrangements for the cancelled workshop. Again it is highly recommended that you consider taking out insurance to cover such events.

The Retreat:

​

  1. We will also ask you to select your one complimentary holistic treatment. If you wish to have other treatments, then thes can be booked and paid for prior to attending the workshop. Failure to make this payment before you arrive at the Retreat will infer that you no longer wish to have the additional treatment.

  2. The venue for the workshop is a residential area so please be respectful of the neighbours.

  3. Due to the intensive nature of the workshops, it has been decided that no alcohol will be provided at the venues. This is to ensure that your progress and development on the workshop is not affected by alcohol.

  4. If the property or items within the property are damaged, broken or go missing during your stay at the workshop then you will be responsible for covering the costs of this.

  5. We aim to ensure a high standard of health and safety whilst you are staying on the workshops. However we will not responsible accidental injury caused by uneven surfaces on the property and in the surrounding countryside.

Additional:

​

  1. We are confident that you will not find cause for concern during your workshop. If, however you feel you need to complain about a particular aspect of the workshop then please speak to Sharon McKenna-Daniels or the team and we will try resolve any issues or concerns that you may have. 

  2. Once you have attended the workshop a refund will not be given.

  3. Personal data collected by us is gathered is used for the benefit of hosting and running the workshop. We will not pass your details on any third party. We adhere to data protection laws and legislation with regards to storing and maintaining your data.

  4. As part of promoting our workshops we take photos and short videos during the workshops to use on our website, social media and advertisement. By agreeing to our terms and conditions you are giving consent for your photo or image in a video to be used. If you are not happy with your photo or image being used then please contact us directly prior to the workshop.

  5. Our Workshops are open to anyone that identifies as a women however due to the fact there are shared bedrooms and bathrooms at the Retreat venue we may not be able to accommodate those that have transitioned simply because of this fact. There is a non-residential option available for the Retreats.
